In Sirsa, Haryana, the maximum temperature was recorded at 47.8 degrees Celsius on Tuesday, which is the highest in the country.
Meteorological Center Jaipur has issued orange and red alert in the state for five days. The Meteorological Department says that the maximum temperature may increase by two to three degrees Celsius in the next four to five days. On Tuesday also, the maximum temperature of 47.2 degrees Celsius was recorded in Pilani, Jhunjhunu, Rajasthan. The temperature is continuously increasing during the summer season in India.
