In fact, at around 2 am on May 18, a high speed Porsche car crushed bike riders Anish Awadiya and Ashwini Koshta in Pune. The accident was so terrible that both of them died on the spot. Ashwini was a resident of Jabalpur and Anish was a resident of Umaria. At the time of the accident, the minor son of a renowned builder of Pune was driving the car and he was under the influence of alcohol.
After the accident, people caught two car riders but one ran away as soon as he got a chance. The police arrested the youth driving the car, whose age was 17 years and 8 months. The Juvenile Justice Board had granted bail to the accused minor within 15 hours. However, Pune Police Commissioner Amitesh Kumar told the media that we had requested the court to treat the accused like an adult. This is a heinous crime, we have also demanded the custody of the minor. We will go to the sessions court against the court order.
