New Delhi. Aam Aadmi Party’s Rajya Sabha MP Swati Maliwal has given an interview for the first time after the assault. She said that she had gone to the CM residence on May 13 around 9 am to meet Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal. There the staff made me sit in the drawing room and said that Kejriwal (Arvind Kejriwal) is at home and is coming to meet.
Swati Maliwal further said that at that time Vibhav Kumar came there and started beating me. Vibhav Kumar slapped me seven-eight times. When I tried to push him away, he caught my leg and dragged me down. Maliwal further said that my head hit the central table. I fell down. Then he started kicking me. I screamed very loudly, but no one came to help.
During the conversation, AAP MP (Swati Maliwal) said that if he wanted my Rajya Sabha seat, he would have asked for it lovingly, I would have sacrificed my life. But being an MP is a very small thing. Now no matter what power of the world is used, I will not resign. Maliwal has alleged that on May 13, Kejriwal’s (Arvind Kejriwal) PA Vibhav Kumar (Vibhav Kumar) beat her up. Police registered an FIR in the case on May 16 and arrested Vibhav Kumar (Vibhav Kumar). Currently, he is in police custody for five days.
She (Swati Maliwal) also said that whether Vibhav Kumar killed me himself or did he do so on someone’s instructions. This is now part of the investigation. I am fully cooperating with the Delhi Police. I am not giving a clean chit to anyone, because the fact is that I was in the drawing room. I was screaming. Kejriwal ji was at home, but still no one came to help.
