FIFA President congratulates Al Ain and welcomes him to the 2025 Club World Cup


Gianni Infantino, President of the International Federation of Association Football (FIFA), congratulated Al Ain Club on the occasion of winning the 2023-2024 AFC Champions League title and qualifying for the Club World Cup in its new format. Al Ain succeeded in achieving its second continental title 21 years after its first title, after defeating the Japanese team Yokohama Marinos 5-1 in the second leg of the final round, yesterday, to win the title in its favor with the score of the two matches 6-3, after losing the first leg 1-2.

Infantino published a video clip, in which he welcomed the newcomer to the “FIFA Club World Cup 2025” tournament, which the United States will host next year. He said, “Sincere congratulations to the qualifier for the Club World Cup in its new format in the United States, Al Ain Club. We will see you there.” Thirty-two teams from various continents of the world will participate in the new edition of the Club World Cup, the strongest on the continent, and their competitions will be held in the United States in June 2025.
