Accused of Assaulting AAP MP Swati Maliwal, Bibhav Kumar Faces Setback as Court Rejects Bail Plea


Bibhav Kumar in Judicial Custody Until May 28th

Bibhav Kumar has been remanded in judicial custody for four days following a court order on May 24th. He will remain in judicial custody until May 28th.

Earlier, Delhi CM Kejriwal’s PA Bibhav Kumar was sent to five days of police custody.

According to Swati Maliwal’s allegations, on May 13th, Bibhav Kumar allegedly assaulted her brutally, ignoring her plea that she was menstruating and was in pain.

According to AAP Rajya Sabha MP Maliwal, Bibhav Kumar, while shouting at her, came towards her at the CM’s residence, threatened her, and allegedly hurled abuses at her.

Maliwal claimed that she suffered injuries to her arms and faced difficulty in walking after the assault.
