MoveOn Statement on Kennedy Jr. and Trump Sharing Libertarian National Convention Stage

WASHINGTON, D.C. – In response to Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s remarks at the Libertarian National Convention where Donald Trump is scheduled to speak tomorrow, MoveOn Political Action Chief Communications Officer Joel Payne released the following statement:

“As if we needed any more evidence, Kennedy Jr. made it clear today that he should be nowhere near the Oval Office. It’s no surprise that Kennedy Jr. and Trump are on the same stage this weekend. They already share the same views on restricting abortion access and spreading dangerous conspiracy theories.”

As reported in The Hill, today MoveOn is circulating a mobile billboard around this weekend’s Libertarian National Convention, as part of a grassroots push to let voters know that a vote for Kennedy Jr. is a vote for former President Donald Trump. You can view the images here
