Delhi: With a little over a month to go for the 2024 Paris Olympics, the blueprint for the 2036 Games is also in the works. With India set to bid for the 2036 Olympics, there are reports that the nation could push for the inclusion of Yoga, Kabaddi, cricket, chess, squash and Kho-Kho. India could be a frontrunner if these disciplines are included in the Olympics.
The Sports Ministry of India has made these recommendations. Now it remains to be seen if these games actually get included in the Olympics or not and also if India wins the bid to host the 2036 event.
Meanwhile, in Paris, India would be sending their largest-ever contingent and hence the expectations would be high. India would be expecting medals from these individuals and disciplines.
