In case if the Aussies get a big win against India, a shock result of Afghanistan’s match against Bangladesh can be fatal for India.

A win for Australia and Afghanistan against India and Bangladesh respectively will put the top 3 teams with equal points. And as per some net run rate calculation there is a bleak possibility of India getting knocked out despite winning 2 matches in the Super 8.
If the victory margin of Australia against India is more than 31 runs and Afghanistan outsmarts Bangladesh by over 93 runs.
India can only be eliminated from the 2024 T20 World Cup, if the combined margin of Austrlia and Afghanistan’s wins will be more than 123 runs.
